Pilates Gyrokinesis Class with Fiona Carter

THE GYROKINESIS METHOD® uses the breath and rhythmic flowing movement to initiate the core and create ease through all the ranges of the movement within the spine, forward bending, backward bending, side bending and rotation. In doing this you will discover fluidity in not only your spine but in all your joints, most notably your neck, shoulders and hips This method is suitable for fit and sedentary, young and old alike.
This 60 minute class will begin seated on a stool and then move on to mats on the floor. Some of the benefits of GYROKINESIS® exercises include increased postural strength and flexibility, renewed energy and vitality and a general sense of calm and well being.
