Friday night: 19:30 - 21:30

Lunar Nectar (2 hours)
You have heard of surya namaskars, sun salutations, a sequence of poses generally done at the beginning of an ashtanga or vinyasa practice to heat the body. Did you know there is a sister practice to the sun salutations known as the Chandra/moon namaskars?  The chandra namaskars are meant to calm the nervous system and help create more soma, nectar, in the body. We will begin this slow vinyasa practice with a pranayama practice to help ground, moving into the moon salutes created by Shiva Rea. The rest of the this juicy practice will focus on creating an introspective bhav/mood. We will end with a meditation for integration.   This class is the perfect cultivation of the moon's soothing lunar energy. All levels welcome.

Saturday Morning: 10:00 - 12:00

Beats + Bhav  (2 hours)
Bhavana means ‘cultivating’ or ‘mood’. This class will be inspired by music from a specific artist or genre, I either create a specific playlist or collaborate with my longtime Dj friend, Augustus, to make a seamless mix in order to cultivate a unique feeling state (Bhav) and flow for the practice. This class differs from regular classes/workshops as I will practice with you. As we flow together, we will co-create the Bhavana through our movements and breath. We will focus less on the poses but instead on the transtions, dancing our way to our souls. The energy of the music will be the fuel for movement.

Saturday Afternoon: 13:30 - 16:30

Hands on Adjustments and enhancements in the Standing Series (3 hours)

Hands on assists can help students understand the alignment of the pose for their own bodies. Learn how to discern what is needed to help them gain awareness, proper alignment and perhaps go deeper. We will cover the poses in the sun salutations as well as the standing series: triangle, side angle, warrior 1 &2, revolved chair and lunge and more. Whether you're a teacher looking to assist your students in the standing series or a student looking to understand how to do the poses correctly in your own body, this workshop will benefit you.

Sunday Morning: 10:00 - 12:00

The Muse of Creation (2 hours)
There are many ways to tap into our own creative energy. One of the most powerful ways I’ve found is through movement, specifically vinyasa yoga. Join me for a creative fluid vinyasa practice courting our internal muse. In the Hindu pantheon of gods, Saraswati is the goddess of creation. I call her the muse of creation. We call upon her when seeking inspiration to create and manifest ideas/projects/art/learning. She is known as the goddess of music, the arts, speech, education and science. Join me for a sadhana, practice, to connect to our inner muse.

Sunday Afternoon: 13:00 - 16:00

Art of Sequencing: (3 hours)
How to create holistic sequences that are both challenging and therapeutic. This workshop will go over how to create classes based on “peak poses” as well as classes based on Bhav (feeling, mood).  We will create three different classes building on Prana Flow's Wave Theory, Mandala namaskars and classic vinyasa sequencing. You will walk away with an understanding on how to create an open level class using vinyasa krama (steps) for more intermediate/advanced poses.
For teachers and open to students looking to create a home practice.
