Christine teaches workshops that are tailored to the unique talents and abilities of each individual. She teaches groups of 10 or less so that students get personal attention and learn how to develop an independent practice. An emphasis is given to students learning to see and demonstrate subtle yet profound movement. Students are encouraged to develop a holistic approach to movement that leads to greater fluidity and ease in their daily activities as well as in the context of asanas.

About Christine Borg
Christine took her first yoga class with Diane Long in Oakland, CA in 2000. Now based in Edinburgh, Scotland, Christine explores an approach to yoga that was pioneered by Vanda Scaravelli and was taught to her by Diane Long. In this way of working, the intention is directed toward the quality and refinement of the movement that one experiences.
The emphasis is not on the pose. This practice involves a deepening release and relaxation through the undoing of tension, not through stress and over-extension of the body.
Christine demonstrates and works hands on to guide students to experience the subtle quality of movement, breath and attention that is integral to this approach.
