Mysore Classes: Ashtanga Vinyasa method as taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois
In Mysore classes students build an independent self-practice based on the Ashtanga series of postures, beginning with the Primary Series. Each day students sequentially build on the previous. The postures, their order and the breath which laces them together make this a powerful, healing practice. Instructions and adjustments are personalised to the needs of the individual based on their constitution, strengths and limitations and the postures they are working on.
Students can arrive and start at any time during the session and leave when their practice is complete. At Edinburgh Yoga Rooms I will chant the opening mantra at 6.30am and at the latest start time 7.30am.
The room will open at 6.15am and close at 8.45am
